
Bestselling humorist Dave Barry will present his latest book, “Class Clown: The Memoirs of a Professional Wiseass,” on May 17 at the Gaithersburg Book Festival (GBF). He joins more than 130 other authors at the free event.
Barry, a Pulitzer Prize-winning columnist known for his syndicated humor pieces, shares his life story in Class Clown with the sharp wit fans expect from his decades-long career. He lives in Miami.
Gaithersburg Mayor and festival founder Jud Ashman offers a short video review of Class Clown.
Barry, will discuss his book at 1:15 p.m. in the Frederick Douglass Pavilion and sign books at 2:15 p.m.
The Gaithersburg Book Festival runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Bohrer Park, 506 S. Frederick Ave. Admission and parking are free. Find parking options here.
