MCM recently talked with Charles Bailey, the division chief nominated to lead the Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service (MCFRS), about the intricacies of firefighting today and looking ahead to the future.
The county council is expected to vote on Bailey’s appointment. He was nominated by County Executive Marc Elrich.
