It was a big day for a Rockville store Saturday. Like dozens of other new stores, Trulieve, a medical cannabis retailer on Rockville Pike, cut a ribbon and opened its doors to a line of customers. Maryland became the 21st state in the country to make recreational cannabis sales legal. Montgomery Community Media spoke with the first customer.
According to Bard AI there are 95 stores across Maryland approved to sell cannabis.
