Montgomery County Police identified the driver in the fatal crash Tuesday on West Gude Drive in Rockville. Romario Coke, 28, of Silver Spring, was pronounced dead at the scene after he lost control of his car and collided with a tree in the center median.

A fatal one-car traffic collision shut down West Gude Drive and Watkins Pond Road Tuesday afternoon.
According to Montgomery County Police, the driver of a silver Infiniti was headed east on West Gude Drive when he lost control and crashed into a tree in the center median.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. His name was not released pending notification of his relatives.
Rockville City Police and Montgomery County Police Departments are investigating.
