Rockville Forum to Focus on Transportation Safety

The City of Rockville is hosting a virtual public forum on Vision Zero Thursday from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Vision Zero is the city’s plan to eliminate serious road collisions and end traffic deaths. Montgomery County has a similar initiative.

During the forum, residents can learn more about Vision Zero and voice their questions, concerns and suggestions.

Rockville has a number of completed and ongoing Vision Zero projects, including a Pedestrian Master plan, shared roadways and protected intersections.

Transportation and pedestrian safety are priorities of the City of Rockville, according to the city’s website.

The forum will be held via WebEx. More information about the event and how to join it can be found here.
