A man has died following a shooting on Seven Locks Road in Rockville early on Sunday, according to Montgomery County Police.
Officers from the county’s 1st District and Rockville City Police responded at around 2:02 a.m. to the 1000 block of Seven Locks Road. County fire and rescue crews also responded. Officers found an adult man with serious injuries. Attempts to revive him failed and he died at the scene.
Police have not released the victim’s identity, pending notification of next of kin.
The Major Crimes Division Homicide Unit is investigating. Police said they’ll release more information as it becomes available.
