Spooky, Creepy Halloween Displays Fill Silver Spring Yard

A three-headed dog. Gigantic monsters. Dolls that pop out. Skeleton after skeleton. These are just some of the frightening features at an oft visited house in Silver Spring.

For the past nine years, Holly Agouridis of Silver Spring has been decorating her entire front yard and porch with Halloween decorations of all sizes and degrees of scariness.

The decorations on Catalina Terrace that pop out of the ground or loom almost as tall as her house were purchased at Home Depot, Loewe’s and Spirit Halloween. Not one cost her more than $320.

It all started with a three-headed dog and continues to grow with every new Halloween.

It takes about one month to put up all the displays and another month to take them down and clean them off. She then stores them in her backyard shed.
