A teenage boy was injured in a stabbing Tuesday evening while getting off a bus in Clarksburg, according to the Montgomery County Department of Police.
Officers responded to a report of a stabbing at about 8:15 p.m. Tuesday in the 2700 block of Sweet Shrub Drive. The victim, a boy, had been assaulted as he exited a bus in a residential area, police said.
The victim had non life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment, police said.
Authorities took a juvenile suspect into custody from the scene. The suspect and the victim are believed to know each other, according to police.
