Two People Hospitalized Friday Following Collision in Bethesda

Two people were hospitalized after a collision in Bethesda early Friday morning.

The crash happened at Old Georgetown Road and Wisconsin Avenue, around 2:30 a.m., according to a tweet from Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Chief Spokesperson Pete Piringer.

The crash caused the vehicle to flip over, resulting in an entrapment where both occupants had to be extricated. Both occupants were transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The roads have since been cleared and traffic has resumed in both directions.
