Warrior Canine Connection Finds Creative Ways to Reach Vets During Pandemic

The Warrior Canine Connection has adapted the way they do things amid the COVID-19 health crisis. The nonprofit connects specially trained service dogs with veterans nationwide recovering from combat stress, allowing them to reconnect with their families, communities, and friends.

Founder and Executive Director Rick Yount says Warrior Canine Connection continues to provide mission-critical programming for veterans in recovery virtually and in some smaller groups.

MyMCMedia spoke with Yount:

Warrior Canine Connection will be hosting its eighth annual graduation virtually on Saturday, September 26.

In the meantime, feel free to check out their live puppy cam here.
