1. U.S. Senate Forum: Democratic Senate candidates Prince George’s County Executive Angela Alsobrooks and Rep. David Trone are set to participate in the first televised forum of the primary today at 8 p.m. on Fox45 News. The forum may also be viewed on The Baltimore Sun and The University of Baltimore websites.

2. Wootton Student Arrested: Police arrested a Wootton High School student Thursday and may have prevented a school shooting. Police are expected to hold a media briefing today at 11 a.m.

4. Germantown Gun Buyback:  On Saturday, April 20, residents may turn in guns, no questions asked from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at the United Church of Christ of Seneca Valley in Germantown (13421 Clopper Road in Germantown). MCM visited the event organizers earlier this week to learn about this event.

5. Rockville Science Day: The 33rd annual event sponsored by the Rockville Science Center features numerous STEM exhibits, hands on learning, demonstrations, and games appropriate for all ages. The Rockville Campus of Montgomery College hosts the event Sunday, April 21 from noon-5 p.m. Admission and parking are free. The college is located at 51 Mannakee Street in Rockville.
