1. Council: Committee meetings.

2. Police Accountability: The Board will meet at 7:00 p.m. The Event address is Plum Gar Community Recreation Center, 19561 Scenery Drive, Germantown.

3. Board of Education: As part of the national search for an MCPS superintendent, an in-person town hall will be held today at Wheaton High School at 6:00 p.m.

4. Pedestrian Safety: The MCDOT Pedestrian Safety Team will be at Ellsworth Place in downtown Silver Spring from 4 to 8 p.m. to promote pedestrian, driving, and bike safety to Montgomery County residents. Visit the MCDOT table at the Level 2 mall entrance near Ben and Jerry’s and Kung Fu Tea for free giveaways and learn more about the safety programs.

5. ICYMI: County leaders want to reduce food waste and insecurity in the county. For Food Waste Prevention Week, which is currently underway, leaders highlighted Manna Food Center as a critical local resource that provides donated food to those who need it.
