1. Powerball Winner:  The winning $731.1 million Powerball ticket was sold in Maryland. This is the fifth-largest in Powerball history.

2. Planning Board Meets:  The Planning Board meets today starting a 9 a.m. The agenda includes a work session for the Thrive Montgomery 2050 plan. The meeting is streamed online, learn how to watch here.

3. COVID-19 Testing: Free COVID-19 testing is available throughout the county at nine testing sites today. The schedule of clinics may be found here.

5. (ICYMI) Liquor Store Closed: Montgomery County has temporarily closed its Flower Avenue Liquor and Wine store in Silver Spring after an employee tested positive for COVID-19
