1. Drive for Supplies: Montgomery County students, families, and nonprofit agencies may pick up free supplies for students who need them. The event takes place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Clarksburg High School which is located at 22500 Wims Road.

2. Montgomery Village Man Back in Court: In May, Jean Pierre was convicted of second-degree murder in the death of his wife Nerlande Foreste. Today he returns to Montgomery County Circuit Court to receive his sentence.

3. Free Friday Night Concerts: Wheaton’s TGIF weekly summer concert series continue this evening at 5 p.m. with a DJ and then followed by a live concert by the Ricky Wise Trio at 6 p.m. Bethesda’s Summer Concert Series continues this evening from 6-8 p.m. at the corner of Norfolk and St. Elmo Avenues. Tonight Billy Coulter is set to perform.
