1. Part of Woodmont Avenue Closed Until November: Starting Monday, Woodmont Avenue will be closed between Wisconsin Avenue and Strathmore Street so WSSC can do a large valve vault replacement project. The closure will last through Nov. 2. See more here
2. Temporary Bus Stop Relocation in Wheaton: Starting Monday for about two months, Ride On bus stop #23284 at Holiday Park Senior Center in Wheaton will be moved to the sidewalk near the entrance of Ferrara Drive due to window replacement at the senior center. The project is expected to be done Sept. 18.

4. Adult Art Night in Bethesda: From 4-6 p.m. at Connie Morella Library in Bethesda, learn the basics of sewing by hand and make a dinosaur plush. This event for adults is first come, first served. All supplies are provided. See more here
