1. Summer Reading Challenge: The Montgomery County Public Libraries (MCPL) Summer Reading Challenge starts today! This year’s theme is “Oceans of Possibilities.” The challenge will run through Aug. 31.

2. Weekly Briefing: County Executive Marc Elrich and health leaders will hold their media briefing at 12:30 p.m. Residents can watch live on MCM channels 21 and 995 (HD), County Cable Montgomery and on the county’s Facebook page and YouTube channel.

3. Drive-Thru Food Distribution: Stop by South Lake Elementary School in Gaithersburg from 1-2:30 p.m. to receive boxed groceries in your car.

4. Park & Ride Entrance Closure: The Gateshead Manor Way driveway entrance to the Briggs Chaney Park & Ride lot is closed for repairs today. The driveway on Robey Road will be the alternate entrance. See more here.

5. ICYMI: The Montgomery County Board of Elections is seeking registered voters to serve as bilingual election poll workers for the Gubernatorial Primary Election to be held on Tuesday, July 19.
