5 Things to Know Today, June 27, In Montgomery County

Today is Monday, June 27 and here are five things to know happening in Montgomery County today.

1. Council President Briefing: Council President Gabe Albornoz and Public Health Manager Sean O’Donnell will hold a media briefing today at 11 a.m. to discuss Council matters and provide a public health update. The briefing will be streamed on the Council’s Facebook page here.

2. Council Committee Work: Two of the six council committees meet today. All sessions are televised live on County Cable Montgomery and streamed on YouTube.

3. Municipal Monday:  The Gaithersburg Mayor and Council meet tonight at 7:30 p.m. for a work session. The agenda and information packet may be found online. The Rockville Mayor and Council meet at 7 p.m. The agenda and information may be found online.

4. Glenstone Museum: Take time to visit this unique museum in Potomac this summer.

5. Developing a Web Series or TV Show:  We are offering a virtual class to learn the process of producing a web series or TV show taught by award-winning journalist Nicki Mayo.
