1. Schools Closed:  There is no school for MCPS students today and it is a professional day for teachers.

2. Police Training Exercise: County police are conducting a training exercise in downtown Silver Spring in the area of Wayne and Dixon avenues.

3. Petals and Paws: Montgomery Parks is welcoming community members and their furry friends to participate in a one-mile walk for the Petals and Paws event Saturday, April 1 at South Germantown Recreational Park.

4. Electric Scooter Clinic: The county is sponsoring a free electric scooter clinic this Saturday, April 1 in Gaithersburg.

5. Y2K Pink Party: Don your favorite pink outfit for a free concert hosted by NSYNC’s Chris Kirkpatrick and 98 Degrees’ Jeff Timmons Saturday, April 1 at Westfield Montgomery in Bethesda. Reserve a spot.
