Council: The Montgomery County Council session starts at 9:00 a.m. with a Proclamation recognizing Opioid Awareness Month, by Councilmember Albornoz and Councilmember Katz and a Proclamation recognizing the Retirement of Jeremy Criss, by Councilmember Balcombe, Councilmember Friedson, and Councilmember Luedtke

2. Anti-Hate Task Force: The Montgomery County Anti-Hate Task Force will meet virtually today at 7 p.m.

3. Board of Elections: National Voter Registration Day is recognized across the United States to spread the word about the importance of preparing for Election Day by registering to vote.

4. Twilight Tuesday: Today Afro-Latin Dance Party hosted by Djanira Murchison. DJ Bachata Larry and dance instructors lead an evening of dance. Dance styles include bachata, salsa, merengue, kizomba, and more. Experience is not necessary as the first 20 minutes of the evening features a lesson on the various dance styles.
