Moore announces his list of endorsements

Gov. Wes Moore released a list of candidates he endorses as part of his leaders who “Push Back and Push Forward” late last week.

On the statewide level, he singled out current U.S. Rep. April McClain Delaney (D) as his choice for the hotly contested seat in District 6. And he lent his endorsement to another incumbent, District 8’s Jamie Raskin (D).

For the office of State Senate, Moore chose all serving incumbents including Senators Zucker (D-14), Feldman (D-15), Love (D-16), Kagan (D-17), Waldstreicher (D-18), Kramer (D-19), Smith (D-20) and King (D-39).

On the county ballot, Moore boosted county council candidates Jud Ashman, Marc Elrich, Natali Fani-González, Dawn Luedtke, Laurie-Anne Sayles and Kate Stewart. Elrich and Sayles pursue at-large council seats. Ashman, Fani-González, Luedtke and Stewart all look to represent their county districts.

Notably, Moore did not name any Montgomery County candidates for county executive or state’s attorney on his list of endorsements.
