The seventh annual USA Warriors Sled Hockey Tournament is being hosted at Rockville Ice Arena. The event will run from May 15-17 in partnership with several local organizations including the Washington Capitals.
The three-day tournament will bring together more than 130 military veterans and service members with disabilities from across the country to compete in a fast-paced, full-contact sled hockey tournament. This includes the local USA Warriors team, based out of the Washington, D.C. area.
The event is free and open to the public across each tournament date.
Teams will play a Round Robin set of games on Friday and Saturday, with the Championship games on Sunday.
Medals will be awarded to the top three teams – Gold, Silver, and Bronze. The Champions will also take home the USA Warriors Challenge Cup.
