MCFRS reported a gas leak after a car crashed into a four‑story townhouse in Rockville Monday afternoon. The impact damaged a gas meter and caused the leak.
Crews reached the 3400 block of Wood Aster Place and found a gas leak and a water leak. Firefighters evacuated nearby townhouses while they secured the scene.
MCFRS is still checking whether anyone was hurt.
