Beer and Berries Festival Brings New Tradition

Sandy Spring Museum will host the first Beer and Berries Festival on April 23 at 4 p.m.. The event, set to become an annual tradition, will be full of live music, ax throwing, beer and food, according to the museum’s website.

The festival will provide picnic tables on a first-come, first-served basis. People are encouraged to bring their own chairs and blankets.

Tickets are $15 for adults and $3 for children under 15 years old. Buying tickets before the event will save each person $5.

The festival will feature hayrides, outdoor games, and vendors such as Falling Branch Beer, Lone Oak Brewing Co., Clear Skies Meadery and Boss Burger, the event’s website states.

If there is rain, the festical will be moved indoors.
