As of Tuesday morning, there are 2,768 cases of COVID-19 in Montgomery County, which is an increase of 121 cases from the 2,647 cases reported by the Maryland Department of Health Monday.

The total number of deaths in the county due to COVID-19 is currently reported as 99, an increase of 10 since Monday’s report of 89. The number of probable deaths is 17. Probable deaths have not been confirmed by testing.

There is no additional information about the 10 deaths at this time.

As of Tuesday morning, there are 14,193 cases of COVID-19 in Maryland, which is an increase of 509 cases from the 13,684 cases reported Monday.

The total number of deaths in Maryland due to COVID-19 is currently reported as 584, up from 516 on Monday. There is no additional information about the 68 deaths at this time.

Of the total Maryland cases, 3,158 were hospitalized at some point in their illness and 930 patients have been released from isolation. According to the Maryland Department of Health, there have been 59,442 negative coronavirus tests in the state.

Currently, 1,433 patients are hospitalized in the state. Of those, 907 patients are classified as acute care and 526 patients are classified as intensive care.
