Montgomery County COVID-19 Statistics

As of Wednesday morning, there are 2,868 cases of COVID-19 in Montgomery County, which is an increase of 100 cases from the 2,768 cases reported by the Maryland Department of Health Tuesday.

The total number of deaths in the county due to COVID-19 is currently reported as 110, an increase of 11 since Tuesday’s report of 99 deaths. The state also reports the number of probable deaths which have not yet been confirmed with testing for COVID-19. The number of probable deaths is 16.

There is no additional information about the 11 deaths at this time

Maryland COVID-19 Statistics

As of Wednesday morning, there are 14,775 cases of COVID-19 in Maryland, which is an increase of 582 cases from the 14,193 cases reported Tuesday.

The total number of deaths in Maryland due to COVID-19 is currently reported as 631, up from 584 on Tuesday. There is no additional information about the 47 deaths at this time.

Of the total Maryland cases, 3,325 were hospitalized at some point in their illness and 981 patients have been released from isolation. According to the Maryland Department of Health, there have been 61,754 negative coronavirus tests in the state.

Currently, 1,432 patients are hospitalized in the state. Of those, 905 patients are receiving acute care and 527 patients are receiving intensive care.
