Detectives are seeking information regarding a carjacking that took place Monday night in the 19400 block of St. Johnsbury Lane in Germantown.

The report of armed carjacking prompted 5th district officers to respond at 10:00 p.m. Monday. The victim, an adult male, arrived at home in his 2015 BMW at 9:35 p.m., according to detectives.

After parking in the driveway, four suspects parked an unknown vehicle behind the victim, blocking the driveway in the process. Detectives say three armed individuals got out of their car and pointed guns at the victim.

The suspects demanded the victim exit the BMW, which he did.

One of the suspects then got in the BMW and drove off. The other three suspects departed in the other vehicle, according to detectives.

Three of the four suspects were described as Black males, armed with guns, between 20 to 25 years old, wearing black clothing and black ski marks.

There is no description of the fourth suspect who was waiting in the car.
