1. Capital Budget Public Hearing: County Executive Marc Elrich recently unveiled his 2021-2026 capital budget. Communities can offer testimony about this budget at 1:30 and 7 p.m. at the Council Office Building in Rockville, located at 100 Maryland Avenue.

2. Celebrate Febrewary: Residents have the opportunity to save money and energy by trading in old incandescent or compact fluorescent light (CFL) bulbs for free LED light bulbs from 5 to 7 p.m. at Saints Row Brewing in Rockville.

3. Foster Parent Information Meeting: Anyone interested in becoming a licensed foster should attend a meeting from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. at Montgomery County Health and Human Services Department’s 1st floor conference room in Rockville, located at 1301 Piccard Drive.

4. Latin American Youth Center’s Breakfast for Heroes: Latin American Youth Center is recognizing heroes who show up for youth from 8 to 10 a.m. at the Silver Spring Civic Center. RSVP for the complimentary breakfast by filling out this form.
