The City of Gaithersburg is accepting children’s winter apparel donations, and offering discounts Monday through Thursday for its annual Winter Lights Festival.
Items to be collected are children’s winter hats, gloves and scarves for the Gaithersburg Holiday Giving program.

Donations are accepted at the check-in station upon arrival at Seneca Creek State Park.
Those contributing will be thanked with a $5 dollar discount on tickets to the Winter Lights. Standard ticket prices are $15 per vehicle on Monday-Thursday and $25 on weekends. Tickets must be purchased online at the 2023 Winter Lights Festival at Seneca Creek State Park web page.
The discount available is only valid for trips to the Winter Lights Monday through Thursday, Nov 30.
