GreenFest, Montgomery County’s largest annual environmental festival, is set to return Saturday, Apr. 27 in Germantown.

As part of the county’s “Earth Month” schedule, the festival is meant for people of all ages to learn how they can contribute to a healthier environment.

GreenFest is run by the county’s Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) along with a coalition of public and non-profit partners.

Past GreenFest installments included local food vendors, plant giveaways, kids’ activities, education opportunities, and petting zoos.

GreenFest 2024 will be held at BlackRock Center for the Arts from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is free.

Prospective attendees are advised to follow the #MCGreenFest hashtag on social media for updates.
