Good news for businesses in need of financial assistance to reopen safely amid the COVID-19 health crisis – it’s not too late to apply for county grant funding.
The Reopen Montgomery Grant Program aims to reimburse businesses and nonprofits for expenses incurred to comply with state and county reopening requirements. The County Council passed a special appropriation under Resolution 19-523, creating the program to provide up to $5,000 per applicant. A total of $14 million has been appropriated according to officials.
