The incident occurred in the area of 12000 Galena Road, near Randolph Road near Randolph Hills. A couple of firefighters from Station 23 (AT723) in Rockville responded to a call about a trapped Yorkie canine. The Yorkie became stuck between a wooden deck and remained trapped despite the efforts of local residents.

Pete Piringer, the chief spokesperson for the Montgomery County Fire Department, explained that the firefighters made “quick work” of rescuing the dog after it was trapped in a confined space.
