Montgomery County Police are investigating a shooting Tuesday in the 18200 block of Lost Knife Circle in Gaithersburg.
Following the shooting, Councilmember Dawn Luedtke tweeted, “Sickened by yet another shooting.”

Three days earlier, two teenagers were shot in Germantown while attending a birthday party. According to Maryland-National Capital Park Police, a 15-year-old female and a 15-year-old male were approached by a male suspect who shot both of them and then fled into a vehicle. The shooting at Clearspring Local Park on Scenery Drive took place at 6:30 p.m. Sunday. No suspect currently is in custody.
On Saturday, police responded to the 18700 block of Walkers Choice Road in Montgomery Village after receiving multiple calls about shots being fired. Two groups were shooting at each other near a pool. Witnesses told police that after the shooting, some of those involved got into a dark colored sedan and drove away while another group ran toward a wooded area in the direction of Boysenberry Drive.
