Police: Food Delivery Driver Robbed and Carjacked in Silver Spring

Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) detectives from the Major Crimes Division are investigating a robbery and carjacking outside of a Silver Spring Chick-fil-A.

The victim, a food delivery driver, was leaving the Chick-fil-A at 825 Ellsworth Drive when he was approached by three males who went for his car keys, MCPD said. Police said there was a struggle between the suspects and the victim before they were able to get the keys and drive off in the car.

The car stolen is a white 2019 Nissan Sentra and was taken in the afternoon on June 11, MCPD said.

According to a police press release, “The suspects are described as Black males, dressed in all black, ranging in height between 5’10” and six feet tall. The Nissan has a MD registration with tags reading 6EM3337.”

Police said the victim was not injured from the incident.

Anyone with information on the location of the car or the identity of the suspects is asked to call the Major Crimes Division at 240-773-5070 or Crime Solvers at 866-411-8477.
