Montgomery County Police identified the driver as Mark Sampson, 48, of Gaithersburg. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

A driver was pronounced dead early Wednesday morning after the gray Toyota 4Runner he was driving west in the 14400 block of Turkey Foot Road in Gaithersburg struck multiple trees and then overturned.
Montgomery County Police is investigating the 12:27 a.m. crash and will release more details once they are known.
