Police Investigating Multiple Inappropriate Touchings Along Bethesda Trolley Trail

Montgomery County Department of Police is investigating a series of inappropriate touchings committed by a suspect who groped women in the adjacent neighborhood along the Trolley Trail between Edson and Tuckerman lanes in Bethesda.

Detectives have released video of the male suspect and urge anyone who may be a victim to contact them.

According to a police report, on May 21 at 9:30 p.m., a female walking on Nicholson Lane near the Kennedy Shriver Aquatic Center was approached by a suspect who was riding an electric scooter. The suspect knocked the woman to the ground and groped her before she escaped and called police.

Two days later, on May 23, two females were walking together on the Trolley Trail when they were approached by a person police believe to be the same suspect. He was riding an electric scooter. The suspect followed the women and touched them in appropriately, police said.
