Police said a man was shot and killed late Wednesday at a Rockville hotel.
The Rockville City Police Department (RCPD) tweeted that officers were on the scene at the Red Roof PLUS+ on Shady Grove Road, where the victim was found shot. RCPD said the Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) will take over the investigation.
According to MCPD, both police departments responded to the 16000 block of Shady Grove Road at about 11:30 p.m. Wednesday for a reported shooting. Officers found a man with a gunshot wound who succumbed to his injuries.
Suspects were taken into custody, police said, and investigators believe it was an isolated incident and there is no further danger to the community.
Police said this is an ongoing investigation.
