Montgomery County Police officers are searching for a man who posed as the intended recipient of a package containing $25,000 in silver bars.
According to police, on Feb. 25, a Black male between the ages of 35 and 45 years of age wearing business casual clothes accepted a delivery from a FedEx driver that was not intended for him in the 14000 block of Nadine Drive in Rockville near Aspen Hill.
After taking the package, he fled, according to police. The suspect is expected to be charged with felony theft.
Police released a video of the transaction and are asking the public for help in locating the suspect.
