Potomac’s Maggie Rose to Conduct Virtual Concert from Nashville

Earlier this week, musicians John Legend, Chris Martin of Coldplay and Keith Urban held virtual concerts to provide a fun distraction from all the coronavirus news.

Potomac native Maggie Rose is adding her name to that list. Rose wanted do her part to create a diversion and to entertain her fans back home in Montgomery County and all around the country with a virtual concert Friday night from East Nashville.

The band was originally scheduled to perform a live show in Colorado on Friday but it was cancelled. They will now do the show without an in-person live audience and a scaled down crew. “Everyone will be wearing many hats,” Rose told MyMCMedia.

This is a first for Rose who has appeared at the Grand Ole Opry over 60 times. She will play some of her current and older songs but will also debut some new material. And the band will be taking requests.

Rose said the goal is to “give people that authentic experience.”
