Primary Election Day kicks off

Polls are open until 8 p.m. Tuesday for Primary Election Day in Maryland. MCM talked with Montgomery County Board of Elections officials and local voters at Gaithersburg High School as day of in person voting kicked off.

Unlike early voting when voters can go to any center, on Tuesday voters must go to their assigned polling location. Find your assigned polling place here. Residents can vote as long as they are in line by 8 p.m.

Mail-in voters who received replacement ballots after an earlier printing error are reminded to use that replacement ballotVoters can also take a mail-in ballot to the post office but officials say to take it inside to have it hand postmarked by 8 p.m.
