Springbrook High School to Host Forum on Substance Use Prevention and Mental Health

Springbrook High School will be hosting a community forum on substance use prevention and mental health on Feb. 24. The forum will offer workshops, Narcan training and distribution, and a resource fair.  Workshops will cover topics ranging from mental health support to treatment plans for substance abuse. The workshops will be in English and Spanish.

Montgomery County Police’s Community Opioid Prevention Education (COPE) Trailer will be there to educate attendees on the warning signs of drug abuse. The Parent Teacher Student Association will be running the event from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 pm. Families, students and community members are all welcome to attend. Click here to RSVP for the event.
