Suspects Arrested, Charged In Connection to Fatal Shooting of Teen in Fairland Area

Two suspects have been arrested and charged in connection to the alleged murder of 18-year-old Kennedy Merritt-Millet, who was fatally shot on June 22 in the Fairland area near Greencastle Road and Turbridge Drive.

Authorites were notified that John Delonte Black, Jr. and Annbel Sierra Massilon – both 18 years old – turned themselves in at the Montgomery County warrant turn-in facility on Tuesday around 11:00 a.m.

Investigators say they received several tips, which ultimately led to the suspects turning themselves in.

Black, Jr. has been charged with first-degree murder, and Massilon has been charged with robbery.

Police say Black Jr. is being held without bond at the Montgomery County Detention Center.
