A truck backed over two pedestrians in Rockville on Wednesday afternoon, sending both to the hospital in critical condition, according to the Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD).
Police responded to the collision at about 12:38 p.m. in the 500 block of Dover Avenue. Preliminary investigations revealed the incident occurred in a parking lot.
Montgomery County Fire & Rescue Service (MCFRS) emergency crews treated the victims at the scene and prepared them for medical transport, according to MCFRS spokesperson Pete Piringer.
