There was plenty of success for athletes who competed this past fall in Montgomery County High School sports. Several schools hoisted Maryland state titles, including Quince Orchard repeating as Class 4A champions in football and running its winning streak to 27 games in a row. QO finished the season 14-0 and will head in to next year as the prohibitive favorite to three-peat.
Two years in to girls flag football as a varsity sport for Montgomery County public high schools and Clarksburg stands alone as the two time defending Class 3A/4A champion. The Coyotes have gone 29-1 dating back to 2024, recently beating Walt Whitman for the Maryland State title to finish the season undefeated.

Winston Churchill golf is undoubtedly the best team in Montgomery County and once again in the state, winning the 3A/4A championship for the second straight year. It is the 17th Maryland state title for the Bulldogs.
