Cabaret: Based on the play by John Van Druten and music by John Kander, this musical is set in 1929 Berlin. The main character Cliff arrives in Berlin to work on his novel but is swept up in the life of the cabaret. Improv Comedy Open Workshop:  BlackRock presents a monthly improv workshop on the first Saturday of every month. The workshop starts with a brief introduction to the basics of improvisational comedy theater. Instructors then lead everyone through classic and entertaining improv games in the style of the television show “Whose Line Is It Anyway?” All skill levels are welcome. Saturday, September 7 at 1:30 p.m. Note: performance sign up opens at 6:30 p.m. BlackRock Center for the Arts, 12901 Town Commons Drive, Germantown.
