Woman Reports Inappropriate Touching Walking Down Chevy Chase Sidewalk

A woman says she was inappropriately touched by a man as she was walking in Chevy Chase, a Montgomery County police statement said.

Bethesda police district detectives have released a computer composite of the man and is asking anyone with information to contact investigators.

The incident occurred about 10:45 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 26, as the woman was walking north on the sidewalk of Wisconsin Avenue near Langdrum Lane, police said. The man, who was walking south on the sidewalk, inappropriately touched the woman as they passed each other, police said.

The victim screamed at the suspect to get away from her and he continued walking.

The man is described as approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall, wearing dark colored mid-length shorts and a light-colored shirt (possibly creme or ivory).

The area has had other reports of inappropriate touching by a man.
