1. Montgomery County Council: Council session starts at 9 a.m. with a proclamation recognizing Child Abuse Prevention Month by Councilmember Katz and a proclamation recognizing National Public Health Week by Councilmember Albornoz.

2. Public Hearings: The following Council Public Hearings will occur today starting at 1:30 p.m.

  • Executive Regulation 1-23, Updated Position Description for Assistant Chief of Police
  • Bill 17-23, Taxation – Recordation Tax Rates
  • Supplemental Appropriation to the County Government’s FY23 Operating Budget, Department of Health and Human Services, Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention and Environment Case Management Grant, $550,000
  • FY24 Capital Budget and Amendments to the FY23-28 Capital Improvements Program (CIP) and FY24 Operating Budget

3. Laptop Distribution: Today from 3-7 p.m. at Long Branch Library

4. Montgomery College: Blood drive at the Takoma Park/Silver Spring Campus from 10 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
