2. Tax Season: Today is the last opportunity to be part of The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program that is offering free tax assistance

3. Board of Education: Business Meeting starting at 9:00 a.m.

Pedestrian Safety: The MCDOT Pedestrian Safety Team will be at Ellsworth Place in downtown Silver Spring from 4 to 8 p.m. to promote pedestrian, driving, and bike safety to Montgomery County residents. Visit the MCDOT table at the Level 2 mall entrance near Ben and Jerry’s and Kung Fu Tea for free giveaways and learn more about the safety programs.

5. ICYMI: April is Autism Acceptance Month, and community members and leaders joined Tuesday, April 9 to recognize the month. County Councilmember Will Jawando and County Executive Marc Elrich led a council proclamation.
