It’s Tuesday, Jan. 10, and looks like a cloudy day this morning. Here are five things to know in Montgomery County.

1. Board of Education: Joint Meeting of Montgomery County Board of Education, Montgomery College Board of Trustees, and Universities at Shady Grove Board of Advisors-Executive Committee at 9:30 a.m.

2. Transportation: The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration (MDOT SHA), in collaboration with Montgomery County, will host a virtual public meeting from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

3. Metro (ICYMI): Metro will close 5 bus bays at the Wheaton Metro Station.

4. MCPL: Introduction to Google Drive – In-person at Brigadier General Charles E. McGee Library from 10:15 am – 12:00 pm. 12 computers available for use by registered participants. Class takes place in the 4th floor computer lab.

5. Food Distribution: UpCounty Hub Food Distribution at Germantown Elementary School, 19110 Liberty Mil Rd, Germantown from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
