1. Active Aging Week: Active Aging Week kicks off today at Brookside Gardens. Montgomery Parks and the county have a full schedule of activities for older adults 50+.

2. Council: The Public Safety Committee meets at 9:30 a.m. Find the agenda here.  The Planning, Housing, and Parks Committee holds a work session at 1:30 p.m. and the Public Safety and Health and Human Services committees hold a joint work session also at 1:30 p.m.

3. Municipal Monday:  The Gaithersburg Mayor and Council meet at 7:30 p.m. The agenda and agenda packet are available online. The Rockville Mayor and Council meet at 7 p.m. The agenda may be found here.

4. Youth Basketball Registration: Today is the first day to register for youth basketball programs in the county.

5. (ICYMI) AME Scotland Church Renovations: Four years after floods destroyed the foundation of Scotland AME Zion Church in Potomac, residents of one of Montgomery County’s oldest Black communities watched as the church was lifted off its foundation.
