
Montgomery County Police reports the arrest of 23-year-old O’Shea Hunter of Silver Spring. Hunter was arrested and charged with a stabbing that happened on Wednesday, June 4, in the 1500 block of November Circle in White Oak.
Officers from District 3 responded to the White Oak location at approximately 4:22 p.m.
Upon investigation it was revealed Hunter was involved in a family argument with his mother’s boyfriend. After threatening the boyfriend with a fork, Hunter stabbed him in the chest with a multi-tool knife. Hunter then ran to a bedroom. When the victim confronted him there, Hunter struck him with an expandable baton and fled the home.
When officers arrived, the victim gave them a description of Hunter. They eventually located him in the 11300 block of Lockwood Drive. Hunter attempted to flee the scene by jumping a fence. But he was apprehended after being surrounded by officers and a K-9 unit.
The victim sustained a chest laceration but chose not to receive medical attention.
Hunter was taken to the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit. There he was charged with first-degree assault, second-degree assault, resisting arrest and reckless endangerment. He is currently being held without bond.
